Peter da Silva launched his boutique public relations agency in 2010. The agency specialises in the travel sector and represents award-winning independent hotels across the world. Peter has now worked in consumer lifestyle PR for over 12 years and in that time he has developed unique relationships.

In the United Kingdom the agency represents some of the leading luxury hotels. In Wales for example, boutique da silva pr have represented a variety of hotels including Ynyshir Hall under Joan and Rob Reen and currently Llangoed Hall, The Swan at Hay and Bodysgallen Hall. The agency represents all three Historic House Hotels in the UK, part of the National Trust. Each hotel has seen yearly growth.

Over the years, boutique da silva pr have launched and represented hotels across Morocco including in Essaouira, Fez and Marrakech. The agency continues to represent hotels across the country the country continues to attract a growing number of tourists each year.

In 2010, boutique da silva pr won the brief to take the first UK press trip to Estonia ahead of the country’s capital – Tallinn – becoming European Capital of Culture. Working with the city’s finest hotel, the agency placed articles across UK national newspapers, online and within leading glossy magazines. Since then, Estonia has seen a vast increase in traffic from the UK.

In 2013, boutique da silva pr hosted a unique press trip across the Cape Verde islands, promoting the country and particularly the lesser known islands to the UK market. During the press trip Peter da Silva organised print and online articles with several leading national publications and also worked with a television channel to deliver a unique report which was broadcast globally.

The agency has represented some of the most unique hotels in the world including The Vineyard, a wine hotel in the English countryside, home to 30,000 bottles of wine. Just outside England’s second city, Birmingham, the agency has represented Hampton Manor for several years seeing them achieve a Michelin Star in 2016.

Peter was previously Group Communications Director for a British hotel and lifestyle group with 31 hotels. Through bespoke, targeted media campaigns he raised the profile of each hotel. Prior to that, Peter worked for medium sized agencies in London specialising in travel and other lifestyle sectors.

After graduating with a Marketing & Management Degree from Middlesex University’s Business School, Peter started out in-house for Donna Karan, as DKNY’s press officer; before heading off to work for CMO Music Management, as Personal Assistant to Alex James of British band Blur.
