The country is alive with affection for Laura Ashley.

Each of the 23 luxury and spacious bedrooms offers views of the surrounding Welsh countryside and feature elements of design by Laura Ashley. One bedroom features the original Laura Ashley wallpaper which has stood the test of time still looking immaculate in 2013. As guests walk around what could be a museum, they discover a totally unique piece on the top floor; Laura Ashley’s first ever garment hanging in a glass case. The individual style of each bedroom complements the beauty and tranquillity of the unspoilt outdoors. Whilst indoors at Llangoed, visitors are transported on a journey of discovery in what feels like a home from home with family photos of the Ashley family and other furniture by Laura Ashley throughout the hotel. An oak-panelled Library is located in the oldest part of the building dating back to 1632 and featuring the original ‘castle’ door. Guests can also relax in The Morning Room where a baby grand piano sits.

The journey continues with the vast art collection which is dispersed throughout Llangoed Hall. Adorning the walls are truly outstanding collections of paintings, drawings and various pieces of fine art including artists such as Whistler, Herman Dudley Murphy and James Cowie.
