New Skill – Cooking: Fine-dining, Slow-cooking and Fish
John Williams is Bodysgallen Hall’s award-winning chef having gained 3 AA Rosettes upon returning to Bodysgallen Hall last year. John and his Sous Chef Adam Middleton will be running several master class demonstrations throughout the year including on Saturday 20th February a fine-dining first courses demonstration. Then on Saturday 5th March a slow-cooking, one pot dishes demonstration. Later on Saturday 19th March and in time for summer, a fish and shellfish demonstration. The demonstrations are the perfect half-day experiences including morning coffee from 11am. The master class includes a glass of champagne also and a two-course lunch. Priced £49.50 per person. A special £80.00 per person B&B stay is available for guests wishing to stay overnight or £259.00 based on two sharing for the master class, lunch, accommodation, breakfast and use of spa facilities.
New Skill – Gardening: Snowdrops, Spring, Bulbs, Shrubs, Trees and Roses
Imagine over 200 acres of gardens and parkland and kitchen gardens to explore. At Bodysgallen Hall, this is a reality and Head Gardener Robert Owen oversees the vast gardens. His new tours will provide guests with an insight into the seasonal work and on-going restoration of the gardens at Bodysgallen Hall. Robert has appeared on “Glorious Gardens from Above” which aired recently on BBC One. On Friday 19th February learn about the awakening of the gardens with a tour titled “The Sleeping Garden Awakes with Snowdrops and early Narcissus”. Then on Friday 18th March it is time to indulge in the arrival of Spring. On Friday 22nd April hands turn to “The Season of bulbs- and estate bees are busy on the blossom”. On Friday 13th May it is a time to sow with a tour dedicated to the month of flowering trees and shrubs. Then on Friday 17th June summer is in full swing and the rose displays begin. Each of the garden tours starts at 11am with coffee and is followed by a two-course lunch with a glass of wine and coffee and fudge to finish. Priced £34.50 per person.

Explore North Wales
