A new package at The Corran showcases the varied and always vivid environment that gave Thomas a greater voice.
Guests arrive at The Corran and begin their Thomas discovery with a plethora of Thomas’ books in their suites to select from as a book of choice for the stay. Following breakfast, The Corran’s luxury vehicle will transport guests to the heart of Laugharne to visit the sites made famous by Dylan. Sites include a visit to the famous boathouse, where Dylan lived with his wife Caitlin. This is followed by a visit to his writing shed, suspended in time and then on to enjoy a beer in his favourite pub, Browns Hotel. For the energetic, the 6km Dylan Thomas Walk is a great afternoon pursuit, while a visit to Laugharne Cemetery affords visitors a chance to glimpse the simple graves of Thomas and his wife.
The package includes overnight accommodation including breakfast, luxury transport, afternoon tea at The Corran, entrance to the Boat House and one drink in Browns. The package is priced from £125.00 per person per night.
Beyond Laugharne, this magical corner of South Wales stretches for over 100 miles encompassing stunning sea views and beaches right up to the Pembrokeshire coast, the perfect inspirational backdrop. Why not take a book on to one of the nearest beaches and read listening to waves?
